Camberley Bowling Club is located in Southwell Park Road, Camberley on the south side of the London Road Recreation Ground, adjacent to the tennis courts. Access is via the recreation ground gate in Southwell Park Road. Location Map
Directions
Approaching from the west along the A30 from Hartley Wintney and Blackwater, follow the A30 around the Meadows Roundabout towards Camberley, across the Frimley Road traffic lights and turn right into The Avenue and then left into Southwell Park Road. The bowling green is 100yds on the left, France Hill Drive is a little further along on the right. If you miss The Avenue, take the next right into Grand Avenue to the end and turn right into Southwell Park Road. The bowling green is on the right just past France Hill Drive on the left.
Approaching from the East along the A30 from Bagshot, follow the A30 to Camberley. Go past the Premier Inn on a left corner and turn left at the Arena Leisure Centre into Grand Avenue, to the end, and turn right into Southwell Park Road. The bowling green is on the right just past France Hill Drive on the left. If you miss Grand Avenue, turn left into The Avenue and then left into Southwell Park Road. The bowling green is 100yds on the left, France Hill Drive is a little further along on the right.
Parking
We have a parking arrangement with the New Apostolic Church which is located 30yds on the left down France Hill Drive. France Hill Drive is off Southwell Park Road almost opposite the Recreation Ground gate. They allow us to park in their car park every day except Wednesday evenings and Sundays provided the cars display a parking permit slip. The permit slips can be obtained from the clubhouse on the day of the match.
Parking in Southwell Park Road and France Hill Drive has a two hour limit but is free after 6pm weekdays and Saturdays and is free all day Sundays.
Free parking is available in The Avenue at the west end of Southwell Park Road and there are a few places down France Hill Drive (next to church) if you can find a vacant slot.
